Tom has been in sales and marketing his entire adult life. His summers during college were spent working with Southwestern Company; to which he gives credit for helping him to learn and listen to the needs of his clients. With his own marketing firm, Tom traveled the Southeast and formed relationships with customers and clients that have lasted throughout the years. Tom’s friendly personality, his love of travel, knowledge of the Sotheby’s brand and the relationships formed within the Sotheby’s global network have enabled him to assist customers and clients in locating and selling property the world over.
Tom’s greatest strength is his uncanny knack for helping clients see that the right decisions made today will forge the right direction for future successes. Tom’s knowledge of zoning, land uses, town regulations and his involvement in local government and foundations have assisted his clients in making the right decisions and avoiding costly mistakes.
Tom began his real estate career over 40 years ago when he first moved to Lake Lure. Tom has completed courses for certified real estate appraiser, Luxury Home Marketing Specialists, and is co-founder, along with his wife Carole, of Pinnacle Sotheby’s International Realty. Tom is also President and Owner of the company. Tom is licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina.
